On September 11, 2012 Harlan and Quillen attorney, Keith Slocum, attended the Nashville Bar Association’s educational meeting, Stern V. Marshall – Who is it Good For?
The meeting delved into the implications of the year-old Supreme Court decision that grew from celebrity Anna Nicole Smith’s battle with her late husband’s probate estate.
“This was an excellent and timely topic,” says Slocum. “Bankruptcy professionals have been trying to decipher the impact of the case and how it affects our practices since it was ruled upon by the Supreme Court.”
