Reg F Boot Camp
H&Q attorney Keith Slocum attended the Reg F Boot Camp Seminar, hosted by Max Gardner, at the O. Max Gardner Foundation in Shelby, North Carolina this month. The Boot Camp, limited to only 12 participants, focused on identifying and stopping illegal and unfair debt collection communications – email, text, and social media.
“After attending this intensive small group bootcamp and becoming exceedingly familiar with the new regulation F, which implements the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), I am excited to implement these new tools and better represent consumers,” explains Slocum.
Board certified in bankruptcy law, Slocum routinely defends clients against unfair debt collection practices under the FDCPA. Attending the Reg F Boot Camp Seminar has further enhanced his knowledge and ability to successfully win cases against predatory debt collectors.
